PARIS is my dream city! i’m dying to see this place and be here! Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, Avenues of Trees in Champ Elysee, Musee De Louver, Cafe De Fiore and so much more! also part of my list is to live independently. Combining it together and i’m in my dreamland!

I love Paris in the summer, when it sizzles.

Plants can lit up a whole room but flowers make it more beautiful!

Chest drawers and piles of Coffee Table books brings an infused feeling of old world charm and modern vibe feel.

i love afternoons especially with the comforts of your own home! i want my apartment to have a full length window that have scenic views of your surrounding especially if the apartment is located with lots of trees.

The bed! i love to cover it with crisp white linens! Cuddling up with that special man in my life! ;-)

 Adriana:  I can never decide whether Paris is more beautiful by day or by night.

Gil:  No, you can’t, you couldn’t pick one. I mean I can give you a checkmate argument for each side. You know, I sometimes think, how is anyone ever gonna come up with a book, or a painting, or a symphony, or a sculpture that can compete with a great city. You can’t. Because you look around and every street, every boulevard, is its own special art form and when you think that in the cold, violent, meaningless universe that Paris exists, these lights, I mean come on, there’s nothing happening on Jupiter or Neptune, but from way out in space you can see these lights, the cafés, people drinking and singing. For all we know, Paris is the hottest spot in the universe.

can’t wait for this movie to come out! The Great Gatsby is one of the best novel of 20th century! The 1972 is a misfire though it stars one of the best actors and actresses, Robert Redford and Mia Furrow and director Francis Ford Coppola. What will be director Baz Lhurmann do this time? — love that it stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan but will this star studded cast make this version BIG? — hopefully! can’t wait! ;-)

books & must haves …

i went for a weekend trip to Baguio with my family, its always what we do this time of the year. Every trip i make sure i secure everything in my bag. My bag includes all my essentials, from my kikay kit, wallet, iPod (with great road trip/summer playlist) and books!

i made brief trip to my ‘Disneyland’ which is a bookstore to buy books and there i found two books of my few favorite authors. Aleph by Paulo Coelho and That Kind of Guy by Mina Esguerra! :-D

haven’t read books in a while, so you could have imagine my excited face to see all the books in front me.

that’s what i always say whenever i read this book! he makes me fall over and over and over again! to be honest, i always have this sort of thing for bad-boys-who-can-do-romantic-stuff-for-the-girl-he-loves-kind-of-guy — i know, its absurd but there’s no harm to dream one for yourself, right?

when i read the book, i couldn’t STOP! i have to finish it and read it again.

Julie seems to be a goody good girl for me who always do the right thing in every worst situation but after she went out with Anton she seems to be stepping over to the dark side. i love how Julie discover lots of things just being with Anton, that she went out from her comfort zone and be the girl that she never thought she could be. The same with Anton, who is a bad boy/playboy who turns out to be a perfect gentleman who can do romantic stuff and all. 

Being the ‘manang’ that Julie was, she feared to give her heart to someone whom she thinks she doesn’t know ‘yet’, that she feels like she’s dating a ‘masked’ man while everybody knows who he really was when he doesn’t wear any. 

its not hard to fall for Anton, the way he was described, what he was capable of and how he wanted to give up his old ways for someone he sees his future with! 

hay…i’m talking romantic stuffs again…but what can i do?

i love the weather today!if you could only see the weather outside my office’s window you might fall in love with it too!

yes! summer is officially here and so as the hot summer breeze. This is also the time we can do anything and everything without thinking that it might rain the next day! So, aside from the norm of going to the beach, i am listing the things i want to do for the next three months (summer actually begins from march and ends in may). So here it is..

Run! - when i started to render overtime during weekends, i never get the chance to run again. Running for me is one of the easiest but gruesome exercise. The fun part i guess is when you feel the air touching your skin, sweat dripping down your body (sign that you’re actually doing it right), running buddies, and a playlist that you really want to pump out those excess bulges on your tummy! hahaha!

Walk, Point, Shoot - i wanted to do a photo walk together with my photo enthusiast friend. I’m really not a photographer but i want to learn! :-) its one thing i wanted to do for the sake of relieving stress or just plain me-time. Capturing every precious moment through pictures are priceless. Since i’m not a pro and i don’t have an SLR but i do have Digital camera (i think i could start using that one) i would use it to capture everything that my only eyes could see!

Markets -weekend markets are the best! hahaha! in the city like Manila, weekend markets seems to be a hidden treasure. Once you find one, you can’t help but look for more! right now, i’ve been to one market that is Salcedo Market in one of the luxe streets of Makati. There you can find foods ( from organic to Mediterraneans or anything that suits you taste buds) or plants, home furnishings etc. everything you want you got it here.  Over the time weekend markets seems to small hub of fashionistas and celebs in the metro. I want to check Legaspi Weekend Market, Mercato Centrale, Banchetto, Greenhills Weekend Market, Soderno and Xavier Weekend Market! whoa! (ang dami na pala nila, need to check them all soon).

Barely notice what month it is, then it sink in…its already MARCH! Since i came back from a short but memorable trip from Boracay with my closest friends i hardly notice the day and time. Sucks! I wish i could spend more days at the beach thinking nothing but happy thoughts. Now i’m all lost of one of my friends most memorable day of her life - HER WEDDING! Preparations are all okay except for me! hahaha! I’m thinking of buying one or ‘Pagawa’ — hahaha! sosyal! anyways…i need inspiration which is i barely even have one right now. I’ve been scanning the world wide web from lunch till now of what dress i want to wear to the event! i want to look good w/o offending the Bride — that is the main goal! hahaha! I’ve stumble upon these great dresses and hopefully nailing it in a span of a MONTH! — good luck to me! ;-)

i don’t know much things about gadget - its one thing that i want to learn but rather not in my life. Hahaha. Most of the time i rely on magazines or people i trust who knew things more on these stuff than me..hahaha.. I love taking pictures! What is more valuable than seeing people you love happy and enjoying every bits of it?! Preserving them through pictures is one of my must do’s. Right now i don’t have my ‘OWN’..yeah, loser me i don’t have one right now but i’m planning to in few months time. Just taking it slowly but surely. Since money is a serious matter for me i’m opted to buy the less expensive but high quality gadget. But i’m lusting to have in my hands these two cool cameras! Nikon J1 A and Sony NEX 7! 

with all the fashion spread i saw — one brand sticks to what ROMANCE really means. Ralph Lauren is the epitome of Romance & Love in modern times. With the dashing polo player, Nacho Figueras and his ever gorgeous wife Delfina Blaquier, together they paint a pretty picture of a modern day fairy tale. The shoot is located at Blaquier’s family estate at Buenos Aires, Argentina  where Figueras courted and married his Blonde wife. 

Admit it, we love romantic chick flicks! hahaha! i, myself is a self confessed and i won’t miss it for the world. There are lots of romantic movies appearing now in cinemas, some are books turned into movies and all but for me i LOVE those movies from the 90s. For me, they’re more romantic and timeless. Its the same fascination i have with 50s, 60s films only in colored screens! :) Watching them over and over again makes me feel LOVE in any forms, situation and age! hahaha! Since its my Pos-Valentine Post, i wan t you to feel love all over again! :)
